Family Ownership Makes the Difference…

Two strong, funeral families have combined to renew the strength that Forrest Wikoff originally gave to Macon County. Working together to ensure your family the finest in service and fairest in price, Alex Calvert and Greg May bring the experience and caring of their combined sixty years in funeral service.

Alex Calvert grew up in Clinton and is a partner in Calvert Funeral Homes throughout Central Illinois. He is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and Mid-America College of Funeral Service. Married to his wife Sue for over thirty years, they have four children.

Greg May grew up in Jacksonville and is a partner in Airsman-Hires Funeral Homes throughout Western Illinois. He is a graduate of Illinois College and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Greg and his wife, Liz, have been married for over twenty-five years and have three children.

Alex’s approach to funeral service is simple: “There is never a time when Dawson & Wikoff can’t help, regardless of your wishes or budget”. With Dawson & Wikoff being a part of the “Calvert Cares” group of funeral homes, you have our commitment to always serve with care and compassion. Greg has a singular approach to funeral service: “Making sure that every family we serve feels as if they are the only family we’ll see all year”. He understands the deep connection a funeral director must have with each family. He believes that caring for families and caring for the community will truly denote the Dawson & Wikoff difference.

Family ownership and family values that originated with Forrest Wikoff begins again with a combined, local commitment to Macon County. We invite you to compare and consider the difference … Discover the Dawson & Wikoff Difference.
