William "Billy" H. Tucker Obituary (1933 - 2015)

William "Billy" H. Tucker, 82, of Decatur, IL passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. A graveside service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Blue Mound is assisting the family with arrangements. Bill was born on February 15, 1933 in Decatur, IL, the son of Henry and Viola (Corn) Tucker. He served proudly in the U.S. Army. Bill worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Decatur until his retirement. He devoted his remaining years caring for his family. Bill married Ella M. Simpson on April 21, 1954. Bill is survived by his wife: Ella M. Tucker; son: Dirk Tucker and his girlfriend Sandy Reedy; grandson: Jake Tucker and his wife Debbie and great grandson: Evan L. Tucker. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Lyndel Bart Tucker, grandson: Evan C. Tucker and his brother: Richard "Dick" Tucker.
