Weston Harvey Brohard Obituary (1933 - 2022)

Weston Harvey Brohard, 89, of Forsyth, IL passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. A service to honor Weston's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Weston will be laid to rest in Maroa Township Cemetery. Weston was born on November 22, 1933 in Decatur, IL, the son of James Omar and Genta (Freels) Brohard. He married Joan Liming on August 5, 1954. Weston proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Caterpillar Inc. after 42 years of service. Weston was a member of the U.A.W., founding member of the Macon County Underwater Search & Rescue, served as an Auxiliary Sheriff Deputy, president of the Decatur Aerocommanders R/C Club and also was a pilot for Bob Brown-Decatur Aviation. Weston is survived by his wife: Joan Brohard; daughters: Tina Jo Scott and Trina Joan Widdershein; grandchildren: Selina (Nick) Finck, Conrad (Angela) Widdershein, Jaden (Katie) Widdershein and Adam (Morgan) Scott; great grandchildren: Brenna, Braylee, Tanisha, William, Quinn, Avery, Jocelyn and Rowan.
