Tricia Lee Huskey Obituary (1970 - 2016)

Tricia Lee Huskey 46, of Decatur, IL passed away. Tricia was born on June 11, 1970, in Decatur, IL. She was a 1989 graduate from Niantic-Harristown High School. Tricia was an amazing mother of two daughters to whom she dedicated her whole life to. She had a huge heart and always put others before herself. The passion to help others showed in the jobs she had throughout the years: playground supervisor at the Mt. Zion Grade School, Crossing Guard at Mt. Zion Schools, and was most recently employed at Macon Resources Inc. Tricia loved fishing, horseback riding, playing cards, riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and was an excellent cook. She enjoyed being with family, friends, and spending time with her daughters. She was an extremely loving and caring woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved being around people who made her laugh. Tricia was extremely loved by many people. Left to treasure her memory are her two beautiful daughters who were the light of her life: Madison Huskey and Mariah Huskey, both of Mt. Zion; sister: Tina Reding of Harrison, AR; aunt and uncle: Jill and David West of Harristown; fiance: Karl Evans of Monticello; cousins: Kelli Larsen and her husband Scott of Frankfort, Kevin West and his wife Heather of Cincinnati, OH; nieces: Kila Reding of Harrison, AR and Tory Parkhurst of Mt. Zion; nephews: Patrick Reding of Harrison AR, Lucas Reding of Harrison, AR, and Troy Parkhurst II of Mt. Zion. A remembrance service of Tricia's life will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion with Rev. Tony Paulson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Harristown Township Cemetery.
