Tricia L. Henry Obituary (1956 - 2015)

Tricia L. Henry 50, of Decatur passed away at 1:22 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur. A memorial service to celebrate Tricia's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday morning at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Homeward Bound Pet Shelter. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com. Tricia was born January 8, 1965, in Decatur, IL the daughter of Larry P. and Cheryl (Letts) Wise. She married Bobby C. Henry on September 20. 2003. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2010. Tricia attended Richland Community College and earned an Associates Degree in Business Management. She was formerly employed by the City of Decatur as a 911 Dispatcher for police and fire. Following her passion for motorcycles, she worked in parts and sales for two local motorcycle dealers. She was recently employed at Loretta's Work Boots in Decatur. Tricia love playing with her grandchildren, her many cats and dogs, and enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She was a Heaven One honorary member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle club. Tricia enjoyed watching NASCAR races, cheering on her driver Jimmie Johnson and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. Surviving is her son: Preston J. McLean and his wife Samantha of Decatur; mother: Cheryl Adam of Decatur; maternal-grandmother: Evelyn Letts of Decatur; loving companion: Mark McNicol of Decatur; sister: Angela Glancy and her husband Kevin of Champaign, IL; granddaughters: Angela McLean and Lola McLean; nephew: Ashton Wise and his wife Evelyn of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
