Timothy L. Nihiser, 45, of Decatur passed away on Friday (Feb. 6, 2015) in his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 11, 2015) at Calvary Baptist Church, Decatur. Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church. Timothy was born on April 6, 1969 in Decatur, IL. He worked as a machinist before becoming disabled. Surviving is his mother: Nancy Nihiser of Decatur, IL; grandmother: Mary Nihiser of Decatur, IL; daughter: Sabre Nihiser of Bloomington, IL; son: Brandon Beaman of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren; sister: Tabitha (John) Rucker of Decatur, IL; uncles: Doug (Jeanette) Nihiser and Mike (Glenda) Nihiser all of Decatur, IL; cousins: Tony Ruthrauff, Ashley Nihiser both of Decatur, IL and Brandi Nihiser of Alton, IL and Mike Nihiser of Georgia; nephew: Kenny Rucker of Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Kenneth Nihiser, step-dad: Ray Whelchel and aunt: Sharon Nihiser-Ruthrauff. He will be sadly missed by all that loved him and knew him.
