Sheila Alexandra Mary "Sandy" Henry 65, of Carlinville, IL and rural Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 12:04 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2016, in St. Mary's Hospital Emergency Room, Decatur, IL. A service to celebrate Sandy's life will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2016, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Carlinville, IL with the Rt. Rev. Daniel H. Martins, Bishop of Springfield, officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Township Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home,Mt. Zion, IL and beginning at 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday morning at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Autism Speaks. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com. Sandy was born December 17, 1950, in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England the daughter of Alexander and Isabelle (Davies) Wesley. She married John R. Henry on April 14, 1973. Sandy had worked as a teacher for the Decatur Public Schools District #61. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She also worked as a sales representative for Avon. Sandy enjoyed sewing and cross stitching. Her greatest joy was being with her family. Surviving is her husband: Rev. John R. Henry of Carlinville, IL; daughters: Johanna Morgan and her husband Jim of Columbiana, AL, Jennie Bloom and her husband Mark of Ames, IA, Fiona Carrell of Chatham, IL and Rebecca Kitchens and her husband Tyler of Decatur, IL; sisters: Beverly Horner and her husband Malcolm of Dundee, Scotland and Fiona Cummings and her husband Ron of Eastbourne, England; grandchildren: Kayley Casey, Michael Bloom, Ashley Casey, Lexie Casey, Rianna Bloom, Dominic Carrell, Isaac Bloom, Peyton Morgan, Ethan Kitchens, Hannah Morgan, Danica Carrell, and Cadie Kitchens. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Duncan and her granddaughter: Sarah.
