Rodney Lee Hunter Obituary (1960 - 2019)

Rodney Lee Hunter, 58, of Decatur, IL passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. The family will host a service to honor and celebrate Rodney's life at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Central Christian Church, 650 West William St., Decatur, IL. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Rodney was born on April 18, 1960 in Decatur, IL, the son of Bernard Melvin and Mary Jane (Burris) Hunter. He proudly served in the United States Army. Rodney attended Central Christian Church. He was an avid Star Wars fan and enjoyed cooking and dancing to Soul Man. Rodney is survived by his brother: Jeffrey L. Hunter of Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
