Richard Anthony Carr III, 52 of Dalton City, IL passed away at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016, in his residence. Private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Richard was born May 12, 1964 in Decatur, IL the son of Richard A. Carr II and Judith (McGomery) Carr. He married Teresa A. Pinkston on June 10, 1986. Richard worked for Express Lube in Sullivan, IL. He loved racing go-carts and RC cars. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting. Surviving are his wife: Teresa Carr of Dalton City, IL; daughter: Nichole Carr of Dalton City; son: Derek Carr of Colorado; grandchildren: Cameron, Colton and Coty Jr.; sister: Brenda Smith and her husband Dick of Colorado; half-sisters: Marilyn and Mary. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his half-brothers and one half-sister.
