Rachel M Jesse Obituary (1923 - 2012)

Rachel M. Jesse, 89, of Moweaqua, IL passed away on Saturday (Nov. 10, 2012) at St. Mary's Hospital. A graveside service to celebrate Rachel's life was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2012) at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Moweaqua. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be directed to Moweaqua Ambulance Service. Mrs. Jesse was born on February 8, 1923 in Nokomis, IL, the daughter of Ira H. and Lola R. (Bost) Fearn. Rachel was the co-owner of Rae Bob's Confectionary in Moweaqua and retired in 1990 from the Moweaqua School cafeteria. She married Robert H. Jesse on September 5, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2009. Surviving are her sons: Robert D. (Barbara) Jesse of Princeton, IL, James (Jacqueline) Jesse of Flanagan, IL and Rex (Cheryl) Jesse of Moweaqua, IL; brother: Charles (Dee) Fearn of Collinsville, IL; sister: Joan Moore of Moweaqua, IL; grandchildren: Jennifer (Xavier) Chavez, Melinda (Jay) Smith, Chad (Missy) Jesse, Jason (Tina) Jesse, Josh (Stephanie) Jesse, Shane (Mimi) Eggerman, James (Alissa) Pfundstein, Mark Pfundstein, John Pfundstein, Tom (Sarah) Pfundstein, Abbie Pfundstein and Andrew Pfundstein; great grandchildren: Christian Chavez, Daniel Chavez, Maisie Smith, Oliver Smith, Paige Jesse, Reid Jesse, Regan Jesse, Dylan Jesse, Brooklyn Jesse, Emily Eggerman, Abby Eggerman, Madeline Pfundstein and Henry Pfundstein.
