Priscilla M Barr-Duez Obituary (1943 - 2014)

Priscilla M. Barr-Duez, 70, of Moweaqua, IL passed away at 1:18 p.m. on Sunday (June 1, 2014) in her residence. A memorial service to celebrate Priscilla's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday (June 9, 2014) at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday (June 8, 2014). Burial will be in Rosamond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond, IL. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Baptist Church of Macon, Moweaqua Library or the Moweaqua Ambulance Service. Priscilla was born on September 26, 1943 in Pontiac, IL, the daughter of Robert Allen and Faye Lucille (Littlejohn) Evans. Priscilla was the cafeteria manager for Macon High School and Meridian High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Macon and the Red Hat Society. She served as a board member for Macon and Moweaqua Libraries. She ran the concession for the Macon Speedway for many years. Priscilla married Joseph S. Barr on December 24, 1965. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2000. She married Paul E. Duez on April 7, 2001. He preceded her in death on January 21, 2009. Priscilla is survived by her son: Joseph Paul Barr of Galesburg, IL; step-children: Gary (Brenda) Duez of Murfreesboro, TN, Nancy (Wayne) Bardouche of Kingsland, TX, Cynthia (Jim) Lang of Healy, AK, Allen (Lisa) Duez of Moweaqua, IL; brothers: Calvin (Carol) Evans of Punta Gordo, FL, Bill (Andrea) Evans of Thompson, IL, Allen (Vicki) Evans of Kickapoo, NC, Richard (Gloria) Evans of Ottawa, IL; sisters: Margaret "Peg" Kellner of Punta Gordo, FL, Gail (Wayne) Glick of Flora, IL; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; special friends: Renee Fessler of Missouri, John Andrews of Moweaqua, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers: Howard Evans and Bob Evans, sisters: Faye Tapp and Virginia Miller.
