Patsy R. (Bachman) Cox Obituary (1928 - 2017)

Patsy R. (Bachman) Cox 88, of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 2:58 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017, in St. Marys Hospital, Decatur, IL. A memorial service to celebrate Patsys life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017, in Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Minott officiating. Inurnment will be in Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale, AZ. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with arrangements. Patsy was born July 16, 1928, in Decatur, IL the daughter of Leo A. and Sarah (Wilson) Bachman Sr. She married Dean E. Cox on June 15, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1995. Patsy was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was devoted to her family. She was an avid life-long Cubs fan. Surviving are her children: Christine Poland and her husband Rodney of Mt. Zion and Curtis Cox and his wife Elsa of Greeley, CO; sister: Sally Crofford and Ed Nickos of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren: Sarah Lux of Dalton City, Jarod Poland of Mt. Zion, Samuel Cox of Greeley, CO and Benjamin Cox of Greeley, CO; great-grandchildren: Gavin Lux, Mya Lux, Emily Lux, and Coraline Gurley-Poland. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers: Robert Bachman, Jack Bachman, and Leo A Bachman Jr., and two sisters: Helen Bachman and Norma Casey.
