Olive Ethel Hurt 80, of Decatur, passed away at 10:00 p.m., December 8, 2013, in her residence. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. Dawson & Wikoff North Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. She formerly had worked for General Electric Company. She married Herschel J. Hurt on July 17, 1948. She loved attending church. Surviving is her husband: Herschel of Decatur; daughter: Brenda C. Clawson and her husband Greg of West Point, Indiana; son: Richard "Larry" Hurt and his wife Barbara of Tyler, Texas; sister: Maxine Rothrock of Oakland City, Indiana; brother: Albert J. Shelby and his wife Mary Lou of Owensville, Indiana; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.
