Nellie R Fornwalt Obituary (1931 - 2016)

Nellie R. Fornwalt, 85, of Forsyth, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur. A service to celebrate and honor Nellie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest at Maroa Cemetery. Nellie was born on February 23, 1931 in Macon County, IL the daughter of Guy W. and Flora (Smith) Fornwalt. She graduated from Maroa High School. Nellie worked and retired from Illinois Power after working as an Accountant for 43 1/2 years. She enjoyed doing genealogical research, traveling and working on her crossword puzzles. She is survived by her sister: Lila Fornwalt of Forsyth, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
