Milford Robb Obituary (1920 - 2012)

Milford Davis Robb, 92, of Decatur, passed away at 8:19 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2012. Services to celebrate Milford's life will begin with a Masonic Rites service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1833 S. Country Club Road, Decatur. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., at the church with Pastor Mitch Flesch officiating. Memorials may be made to Calvary Southern Baptist Church. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with services. Milford was born August 11, 1920, in Higbee, Missouri the son of Earl and Gladys (Winn) Robb. He married Ruth E. Speagle on February 14, 1941. She preceded him in death on November 6, 1999. He was a retired Engineer from Norfolk and Western Railroad. Milford had served in the Army and was a W.W. II veteran. He was a member of the South Macon Masonic Lodge #467 and had formerly served as Past Master of the lodge. Surviving is his special friend: Jean Friend of Decatur; son: Roger Robb and his wife Cindy of Cumming, GA; daughters: Cheryl Sappington and her husband Art of Mt. Zion and Linda Robb of Decatur; sister: Dorothy Pierson of Decatur; grandchildren: Scott Garner, Angelia Bean, Chris Garner, Ryan Robb, Stephanie Molletta, and Mike Robb, and five great-grandchildren also survive.
