Mary M. Hector Obituary (1949 - 2018)

Mary M. Hector 68, of Decatur, IL passed away at 9:49 p.m., March 23, 2018, in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Burial will be in Florey Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to her family or the American Diabetes Association. Hector on February 14, 1969. She retired as a secretary from Parish and Castleman Law Firm. She enjoyed reading and collecting many unique trinkets. Surviving are her husband Peter of Decatur; sons: Jason Kemmery of Troy MO and William "Tony" Hector (Tammie) of Mt. Zion; daughter: Carrie Hinton (Joe) of Mt. Zion; sisters: Sharon K Ferrill-Jenkins (Jay) of Oreana and Patricia Carter (Robert) of Mt. Zion; grandchildren: Carson Anthony Peter Hector, Tristan Hector, Colin Lee Sutton, Aurora Zoe Kemmery, and Taylor Renae Hector. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her sister.
