Marilyn K. Propst Obituary (1944 - 2015)

Marilyn K. Propst 70, of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 12:42 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2015, in the West Chester Hospital, West Chester, Ohio. A memorial service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com. Marilyn was born July 11, 1944, in Decatur the daughter of Everett and Kathleen (Borders) Lewis. She married Thomas D. Propst on June 26, 1965. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2012. Marilyn was a graduate of Illinois State University. She taught Math for many years at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Decatur. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are her children: Brad Propst of Mason, Ohio and Dr. Erika Leisner and her husband Cale of Columbia, MO; grandchildren: Kayla Propst of Batavia, OH, Noah Leisner of Columbia, MO and Elizabeth Leisner of Columbia, MO; brother: Larry Lewis and his wife Joan of Pana, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
