Mae Margaret McKinney 84, of Decatur, IL formerly of Mt. Zion, IL passed away at 3:25 a.m., Monday July 18, 2016 in Heritage Health, Mt. Zion, In keeping with Mae's wishes no formal services will be held and cremation rites will be accorded. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family. Mae was born October 21, 1931 in Christian County, IL the daughter of Lee and Marguerite (Parrish) Kramer. She married Everett Leroy McKinney on March 8, 1955. Mae was a retired secretary for Likens-Theobald Insurance Agency. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, bowling in many area leagues and fishing with her husband. Surviving is her husband Leroy of Decatur; daughters: Leanna Walker and her husband Tony of Sedona, AZ, Ellen Chappell of Decatur and Janet Davis and her husband Russell of Mt. Zion; sister: Daisy Bruns and her husband Jim of Hillsboro, IL; grandchildren: Lisa Nunn and her husband Jerry of Tallula, IL, Jason Cole and his wife Sue of Las Vegas, NV, Gina Pardue and her husband Harry of Decatur, Amanda Chappell of Decatur, and Nicole Fisette and her husband Dar of Beaumont, TX; great-grandchildren: Kinley Nunn and Calvin Fisette. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law: Thomas Chappell.
