Loyd R. "P.J." Roland 94, of Decatur passed away at 10:19p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016, in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with services. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois Charitable Fund. P.J. was born February 20, 1922, in Carterville, IL the son of Corum and Dovie Roland. He married Margaret Benton in March of 1951. She preceded him in death on October 7, 2001. P.J. was a retired truck driver from Transport Services. Surviving are his daughter-in-law: Brenda Roland of Decatur; grandsons: Phillip Roland and his wife Meridith and Brian Roland and his wife Rachael all of Decatur; great- grandsons: Logan, Jaxson, Mason, Zachary and Christopher.
