John Carl Robinson III Obituary (1941 - 2016)

John Carl Robinson III 74, of Oakley Township, IL passed away at 10:15 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2016, in his residence. In keeping with John's wishes cremation rites will be accorded. The family will have a memorial service to rejoice in his life on Saturday July 9, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at 8895 Sheets Road, Oakley Township. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. John was born September 18, 1941, in Decatur, IL the son of John C. and Bernice (Wesolowski) Robinson Jr. He married Mary Jane Burch on February 17, 1962. John retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation working in highway maintenance. Surviving is his wife: Jane of Oakley, daughter: Pati Ramsey and her husband Steve of Long Creek; son: John Robinson IV of Oakley; grandchildren: Carly Robinson of Oreana, Kati Gideon and her husband Kyle of Decatur, and Jarred Ramsey of Long Creek; sister: Bette Fisher of Decatur. John was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister.
