Jimmie Frances Cash Obituary (1936 - 2015)

Jimmie Frances Cash, 78, of Blue Mound, IL passed away at 9:03 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. A service to celebrate Frances' life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Blue Mound. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Frances will be laid to rest next to her husband Windell at Old Stonington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Frances was born on December 5, 1936 in Albany, KY, the daughter of Earl and Sinda Stella (Hunter) Stearns. She was a cook for the Boody Grade School and later for the Blue Mound Grade School. Frances served as a home care giver for 7 years. She attended Way of Life Church in Taylorville, IL. She enjoyed cooking, baking and camping. Above all she loved spending time with her family and church family. Frances married Windell K. Cash on June 9, 1954. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2014. Frances is survived by her children: Jimmy Wayne Cash and his companion Sherry Thomas of Blue Mound, IL, Tressa Lunell Thomas and her husband Roy of Lovington, IL, Denton Gale Cash and his companion Cindy Morrissey of Stonington, IL; brother: E. Jay (Joyce) Stearns of Arizona; sister: Nell Armstrong of Albany, KY; grandchildren: Joseph Adam (Jennifer) Albright, Andrew Windell Albright, Brandon Paul Cash, Zach Morrissey, James Stanley and Abigail Cash; great grandchildren: Mahalah Cash, Alyze Cash, Dyllon Albright, Darryn Albright, Dayton Albright, Austin Albright and Maya Albright; several nieces and nephews also survive.
