Geoffrey Albert McFarlin Obituary (1951 - 2014)

Geoffrey Albert McFarlin 62, of Decatur, IL passed away at 7:12 a.m., Saturday January 25, 2014, in St. Johns Hospital, Springfield, IL. In keeping with Geoffrey's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and scattering of his remains will take place at a later date by his family. Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Geoffrey was born November 6, 1951 in Poughkeepsie, New York the son of Dr. Raymond T. and Alberta (Schultz) McFarlin. He worked as a massage therapist. Surviving is his sisters and brothers: Deborah McFarlin Erlanson of Decatur, Patricia McFarlin and her husband Zuhair Taher of Bradenton, Florida, Thomasine McFarlin and her partner Judith Noel of Oakland, California, Brion McFarlin and his wife Isabella Fiske of Rochester, Vermont, and Dennis McFarlin and his wife Sabita of Las Vegas, Nevada; also surviving is his special friend: Raquel Guthrie of Las Vegas, Nevada. Geoffrey was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother: Donald Raymond McFarlin.
