Everett Leroy McKinney Obituary (1931 - 2018)

Everett Leroy McKinney 86, of Decatur, IL passed away at 4:43 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2018, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. In keeping with Leroy's wishes no services will be held. Leroy was born November 25, 1931, in Taylorville, IL the son of Everett and Ellen (Edmunds) McKinney. He served in the US Marine Corps. Leroy retired from Wagner Casting Company. He married Mae Margaret Kramer on March 8, 1955. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2016. Leroy and Mae raised their family in the Taylorville and Mt. Zion areas. They enjoyed retirement in Homosassa Springs, Florida. Surviving are his daughters: Leanna Walker (Tony) of Sedona, AZ, Ellen Chappell of Decatur, and Janet Davis (Russell) of Mt. Zion; grandchildren: Lisa Nunn (Jerry), Jason Cole (Sue), Tracey Farrar (David), Gina Pardue (Harry), Amanda Chappell, and Nicole Fisette (Dar); great-grandchildren: Kinley Nunn, Abby and Gavin Hemgesberg, Broderick (Kalli) Farrar and their son Maverick Madison Farrar, and Calvin Fisette; special friend: Karen Hagaman. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and son-in-law: Thomas Chappell.
