Emmett L. Call 78, of Clinton, IL passed away at 2:09 p.m., September 25, 2013 in John Warner Hospital, Clinton, IL. Private family services will be held at a later date. Emmett was born January 26, 1935 in Florence, Alabama the son of Marvin and Lillian (Parrish) Call. He married Virginia Dick on January 31, 1956. He was a retired truck driver. Surviving is his wife Virginia of Clinton, IL; children: Pat Canada of Maroa, Il, Carol Mitchell and her husband Bill of Clinton, Emmett L. Call Jr. and his wife Connie of Eudora, Kansas, Tommy Call and his wife Lillis of Decatur, Jerry Call of Beason, IL and Teresa Barnes of Clinton; brother: Jack Call and his wife Judy of Houston, Texas; sister: Shirley Nuckolls and her husband Jim of Decatur; twenty- three grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and two great-grandchildren.
