Elmina M Wildman Obituary (1919 - 2016)

Elmina M. Wildman 96, of Decatur, IL formerly of Hammond, passed away at 4:15 a.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in McKinley Court Nursing Home. A service to celebrate Elmina's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion with Pastor Dean Cripe officiating. Burial will be in the Hammond Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning until service time. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawsonwikoff.com. Elmina was born on December 10, 1919, in Macon County, IL the daughter of Dewey and Lena (Getz) Eads. She married Thomas "Gerald" Wildman on September 16, 1939. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1992. Elmina was a member of Antioch Christian Church and a member of the Piatt County Home Bureau. Surviving are her son: Raymond Wildman and his wife Wilma of Oakley, daughter-in-law: Cindy White and her husband Russ of Bonfield, IL; sister: Izola Goodrich and her husband Fred of Monticello, IL; sister-in-law: Wilma Eads of Oreana; four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son: Jerry and her brother: Carl.
