Eileen Patricia (Freeney) Williams 69, of Decatur, IL passed away at 5:50 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016, in Decatur, IL. In keeping with Eileen's wishes cremation rites will be accorded and private family services will be held at a later date. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. She married Leander Williams Sr. on December 10, 1977. He preceded her in death in 2002. She was a Child Care Provider with Look, Listen, and Learn Reading Technology. She was a member of Unity Church. She had a great love for baking, enjoyed reading, writing and poetry. She had an amazing sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Surviving are her children: Marva Williams of Decatur, Antoinette Williams of Elgin, IL, Allen Akers of Decatur, and Su Mara Williams of St. Paul, MN; step-sons: Patrick Burns of Decatur and Lee Williams of Chicago; brothers: Thomas Freeney of Decatur and James Freeney of South Holland, IL; sisters: Anita Freeney of Decatur and Donna Freeney of Champaign, IL. Grandchildren: David Williams, Aaisha Williams, Brittany Whigham, Melissa Williams, Brandy Williams, Regina Fields, Xavier Fields, Maurice Fields, Austin Fields, Johnathan Fields, Jamila Akers, Nabiah Akers. Nephews: Vincent Kotlicky, Phillip Freeney. Niece: Sarah Freeney, who she took in, loved and raised as her own. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and grandson: Antonio Williams.
