E. Madeline Ashby 90, of Fort Worth, Texas formerly of Decatur, IL passed away at 5:24 a.m., Sunday, November 02, 2014, in North Hills Hospital, North Richland Hills, TX. Madeline was born February 16, 1924, in Mill Shoals, IL the daughter of Enos Elmer and Mary Elizabeth (Robison) Musgraves. She married Wayne Richard Ashby in 1993. He preceded her in death in July of 1999. She was a retired secretary for Midas-Rex Institute. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Decatur, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enos and Mary Musgraves; husband, Wayne Ashby; daughter, Mary Alice Vaughn Gilbraith, and son, Larry Ray Vaughn. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Cahak and her husband Peter of Fort Worth, TX; son, Doug Weaver and his wife Renee of Thomaston, GA; step-sons; Wayne Richard Ashby II and his wife Sandra of Charlottesville, VA and Jerry Ashby of Charlottesville, VA. Nine grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive. A service to celebrate Madeline's life will be held at 12:00 Noon Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
