Dwayne A Peyton Obituary (1944 - 2019)

Dwayne A. Peyton 75, of Forsyth, IL passed away at 9:46 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in Fair Havens Christian Village. A service to celebrate Dwayne's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 13, 2019, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fair Havens Christian Home Activity Fund. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com. Dwayne was born February 6, 1944, in Decatur, IL the son of Harold and Virginia (Camp) Peyton. He married Wilma Jane Bone in 1965. Dwayne retired in 1993 from Caterpillar as a machinist. He was a member of UAW Local #751. He formerly attended Antioch Christian Church, was an avid bowler, and had coached numerous baseball and softball teams. Dwayne enjoyed remodeling homes and was an excellent carpenter. Surviving are his children: Kimberly Torres in Lebanon, IN and Darrin Peyton of Decatur, IL; brothers: James Peyton (Karen) of Florida and Dennis Peyton (Elvis Nail) of Ohio; and his sister: Helen Trimmer of Decatur. Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Lorene Jarrett.
