Charlotte Irene Conaway-Lee Obituary (1940 - 2015)

Charlotte Irene Conaway-Lee, 75, of Bement, IL passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in her residence surrounded by her family. A graveside service to celebrate Charlotte's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown, IL. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Christian Church of Bement. Charlotte was born on May 4, 1940 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Edgar R. and Mary Ellen (Graff) Conaway. She was formerly married to Charles C. Goodwin, Larry M. Durbin and Robert P. Lee. Charlotte was a nurse's aid and assistant cook at Wabash Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Bement. Charlotte loved her pets and enjoyed crocheting and playing the piano. Charlotte is survived by her children: Charles E. Goodwin of Bement, IL, Alan L. Goodwin of Kingman, AZ and John T. Goodwin of Bement, IL; step-son: Gregg C. Goodwin of Portland, OR; brother: James K. Conaway and his wife Sandra of Decatur, IL; nephew: James Conaway of Carbondale, IL; niece: Sherry Adams of Carbondale, IL; grandchildren: Devin and Christina.
