Charity Mae Dick Obituary (1916 - 2012)

Charity Mae Dick, 96, of Maroa, IL passed away on Tuesday (Nov. 20, 2012) in Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt. Pulaski. A graveside service to celebrate Mae's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday (Nov. 30, 2012) at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Mae was born on May 1, 1916 in Rush, AR, the daughter of John Riley and Ada (Fryman) Honeycutt. She was a homemaker. Mae married Jessa Ray Dick on December 6, 1933. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1985. Surviving is her daughter: Virginia Lee Call of Clinton, IL; grandchildren: Patsy Canada, Carol Mitchell, Emmett Call, Tommy Call, Jerry Call and Teresa Barnes; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters: Mamie Geneva Dick, Lottie Pearl Dick, Erma Jane Dick and Norma Jean Dick; sisters: Martha Hall, Elizabeth Abbott, Jane Garrigus, Meda Honeycutt and Sarah Honeycutt.
