Catherine R Harvard Obituary (1963 - 2016)

Catherine R. Harvard, 53, passed away on Friday (July 22, 2016). Catherine was born on April 1, 1963 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Lois (Lundy) Banes and Henry F. Gromoll, Jr. She married Claude A. Harvard on October 20, 1984 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Decatur. She was a very loving wife. At MacArthur High School she played the French Horn in the Jazz Band. Catherine was also a talented artist and this led to her doing the design work for the MacArthur Jazz Band album covers. Surviving is her husband, Claude; sister: Cindy (Damon) Williams of Van Burensburg, IL; sister: Sharon Milewski of Beulah, ND; brother: James (Maricel) Gromoll of San Diego, CA; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will take place at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1540 Illinois Route 140, Greenville, IL. 62246 at Noon on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. She will be laid to rest in Green Hill Cemetery, Van Burensburg, IL with a private family graveside service. Memorials can be made to Mental Health America or Millikin University c/o Henry F.
