Blake Allen Edward Gilliam, 21, of Decatur, IL passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 as a result of a car accident. A service to celebrate Blake's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Blake will be laid to rest in Harristown Cemetery beside his namesake, his uncle Allen Ross who preceded him in death. Blake was born on June 25, 1993 in Decatur, IL. He worked for Ross Disposal Service for the past 4 years. He leaves behind to mourn our great loss his mother: Tammy Ross and her fiance Bill Ring both of Decatur, IL; father and step-mother: Dennis Gilliam and Melissa Gilliam of Staunton, IL; his beloved brother: Eric Gilliam of Decatur, IL; maternal grandparents: Arvell and Sharon Ross of Decatur, IL; paternal grandparents: Bud and Sue Gilliam of Staunton, IL; He also leaves his step-brother: Terry Wools of Springfield, IL; step-sister: Brittney Wools of Granite City, IL; aunt: Jamie Ross of Decatur, IL; uncle: Mark Gilliam of Staunton, IL; many cousins and friends also survive.
