Marcella K. Schuman Obituary (1946 - 2018)

Marcella K. Schuman, 72, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. A graveside service to celebrate and honor Marcella's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Macon County Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. Memorials can be made to the family. Marcella was born on January 2, 1946 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Owen E. Mary J. (Cheshier) Dodd. She was a member of Seventh Day-Adventist-Church. She married James V. Lourash on February 14, 1976. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2011. She later married Gene Schuman in November of 2014. She volunteered in the St. Mary's Auxillary, was a grill cook for Harold's House of Donuts for many years, loved reading, card games and board games. She loved her grandbabies. Surviving is her husband: Gene of Decatur, IL; children: Becky (Todd) Williams of Menomonie, WI; Scott (Jodi) Wilkins of Decatur, IL; Jim (Becky) Wilkins of Blackberry, MN; Crystal (Mark) Lourash of Long Creek, IL; 10 grandchildren: Sean, Max, Jonathan, Cheyenne, Matthew, Travis, Zach, Jamie, Nathaniel and Austin; one great-grandchild due in July; sisters: Phyllis (Dave) Lynch of Litchfield, IL and Pamela Dodd of Decatur, IL; step-son: Randall James (Gloria) Lourash of Decatur, IL; and ex-husband: Bennett Wilkins.
